The Department of Education announced they have revised the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) quarterly reporting form (QRF). The new QRF will be required starting with Q2 reports, which were due by July 11, 2022.  This new form was made available July 7, 2022.

According to NACUBO, a major change is the new QRF will combine reporting for HEERF student aid and institutional aid awards. This means there is no longer a requirement to post a separate narrative report for HEERF student aid awards. Additionally, in the new QFR no extensive student demographic information is required.

For other important requirements included in the QRF, see NACUBO’s updated article “ED to Release New HEERF Quarterly Reporting Form,” along with additional information and a related accounting tutorial.
