Celebrate Security Awareness Every Day

October is National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and we’ve collaborated with our partner, CampusGuard, to celebrate this month. The theme for this year’s NCSAM campaign, “Secure Our World,” encourages users to stay safe online through security best practices including:

• Using strong passwords and password manager tools
• Implementing multi-factor authentication
• Recognizing and reporting phishing
• Updating software

It is important to keep security awareness top of mind all throughout the year and provide your users with effective reminders and tools to back up their data, implement secure passwords, and protect sensitive data within your organization.

As you plan out your information security program for this year, below are a few additional cybersecurity holidays to add to your calendars. Your teams can take advantage of these days to educate staff and promote ongoing awareness.
